Evolution - A 1987 Mustang at 110 Miles Per Gallon!

An engineer has managed to supe up the engine of his 1987 Mustang to make it get 110 miles per gallon. Through some modifications, the rod and piston engine now operates at 38% efficiency as opposed to a normal engine which operates at 8 - 10%. The car has 400 horsepower, goes about 100 miles per hour, and can go from 0 to 60 in three seconds. This is the designer's entry in the Progressive X-Prize Race, and even though he said that he didn't design it for the money, if his model is chosen he could win 10 Million dollars. Suh-weet! Maybe taking up engineering isn't such a bad idea.

Also, that's two evolution posts in a row! =O Maybe there are some thinkers and go-getters still out there.
